Garlic Butter Recipe #2
Ingredients
125g x Unsalted Butter
1 Full Bulb x Garlic
1 Handful x Chopped Parsley
1 Pinch x Salt
1 Pinch x Black Pepper
1 drizzle x Olive Oil
Method
1. Begin by drizzling the full bulb of garlic with a little olive oil. Wrap it with tin foil and place in a preheated oven at 190°C- 375°F for 45 Minutes.
2. Place the butter in the microwave for ten seconds to soften. Or you can leave it at room temperature for 2-3 hours before you start making it.
3. Once the garlic is cooked, allow cooling. Cut in half through the centre of the garlic. The garlic will be soft and sticky so you can just squeeze the garlic puree right out of the skins. I demonstrate this in my recipe video so be sure to check it out.
4. Place the butter into a mixing bowl followed by the chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and roasted garlic.
5. Mix thoroughly and wrap with greaseproof paper.
6. To wrap, place butter into the centre of the paper and roll into a cylinder. Twist the ends to resemble a Christmas cracker. Store in the fridge or freezer.
TIP- If you a freezing your garlic butter try slicing it first and placing the butter disks between greaseproof paper. This way you can take as much or a little as you would like as a when you use it.
Enjoy!
