Method
- Step 1
Add the oats (100 g), cooled (150 ml) coffee, milk (150 ml), Greek yoghurt (100 g), maple syrup (1 tbsp), vanilla (1 tsp), cocoa powder (15 g) and a pinch of salt to a bowl. Mix thoroughly until combined.
- Step 2
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Step 3
For the tiramisu cream, mix the mascarpone (150 g), Greek yoghurt (100 g), maple syrup (1 tbsp) and vanilla (1 tsp) together until smooth and creamy. You want it thick but spoonable.
- Step 4
Give the overnight oats (100 g) a good stir. If they're particularly thick, loosen with a splash of milk (150 ml).
- Step 5
Spoon half the coffee oats (100 g) into two glasses or jars.
- Step 6
Add a layer of the mascarpone (150 g) cream, then another layer of oats (100 g).
- Step 7
Finish with a generous layer of the tiramisu cream.
- Step 8
Dust generously with cocoa powder (15 g) and finish with a little finely grated dark chocolate.
- Step 9
Refrigerate until ready to eat.

Questions people ask
How long does tiramisu overnight oats take?
About 20 min from start to finish. That figure is worked out from the method rather than timed with a stopwatch, so give yourself a little more the first time.
How many does it serve, and can I change that?
As written it serves 2. Use the scale control on the recipe card to change it: every quantity in the ingredients and inside the method steps updates with it. Seasoning, and anything measured in pinches or splashes, is deliberately left alone.
Can I see the ingredients in ounces and pints?
Yes. The metric and imperial switch on the recipe card converts every quantity, rounded to amounts you can actually weigh or measure rather than to four decimal places. Your choice is remembered for every recipe on the site.
Is it vegetarian?
Yes, as written. If you are cooking for a strict vegetarian, the one to check is the cheese: several hard cheeses are made with animal rennet.
